Dolly Madison Library Display

UFA’s display will be up during the month of September

September 1 - 30, 2022

Taking a cue from Sara Holtz, a Fairfax County IMA program site leader, the Urban Forest Alliance put up a display at Dolly Madison Library to educate the McLean community about invasive vines and the importance of rescuing trees. We added in a plug for planting natives and planting for pollinators, too!

The display will be up for the entire month of September.

We are grateful to the Plant NOVA Trees program for providing the informational materials for the display, and to Sara for loaning us her “vines.”

Later this fall we plan to repurpose the display at Chesterbrook elementary school.

Stop by and learn about rescuing trees!
